DMIR SD18 switching in Lakeside in Duluth. On a related note, my latest video is out! ;D

Unfortunately I am unable to post the video currently as some changes are being made, but I will post the video as soon as possible.

So I'm making a route on TS13, and I'm having some trouble making a siding. I know how to make a manual switch, but I'm having some trouble connecting the siding track to the mainline. I know I have to tick off "Snap to track" and "Manual Switching" in the lower-left fly-out menu, but I can't get the siding to connect when laying track from the end of the siding onto the line. Can anyone help? I brought this same thing up on the Steam TS13 forum but nobody was able to help.

Ok, I found out how to do it with RSCs video tutorials. You have to angle the siding towards the mainline and lay down a bit of track, then the next section of track, the section that will connect to the mainline, has to be laid as a curve angling away from the mainline. It's a bit hard to explain, here's the video:

It's a little tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it it's very easy.

Update time! ;D

Class A4 Pacifics have been released.

DB BR232 released:

Snoot Nose SD40-2 3300 "Independence" released ("'MURCUH!").

Hamburg-Hannover still coming soon.

Also RSC has been traveling. Here they are at the A4 gathering:

On the 4th of July they went to California for vintage locomotives and the California Surfliner.

RSC has also relocated to a bigger, newer office. Features include amazing board room, kitchen as you can see here, and an indoor patio with artificial grass. Why do game developers have the best offices?

And here are some WIP pics of RSC's new DLC: GN Empire Builder.

Nice... ;D

Great lighting on the Budd car!

I... just... wow... just... wow... :o

*gasp...*

And a GP9 too!

diufhkcxhvkucv... I'm catatonic from the epicness of this... I'm pretty sure that's not what catatonic is though... I still can't believe the amazing work RSC has been doing!

Hey RB, you got the new Stevens Pass? If so, how is it? Is it much like the Marias Pass?

I don't have the Pacific surfliner yet, I was towing on the Grand Banks when it came out so I kinda missed it.

I know right! 30 euro for DLC is just way too much. I would like to have a few routes that I am interested in such as the Berlin - Wittenberg one, but ofcourse I'd also have to buy a DB EMU adding another 15 euro to get the full experience

Let's hope they knock off 70% of the DLC with the holiday sales  ;D

RSC said on Facebook that they're working on a route designed to look like a model railroad set up in a Christmas-themed living room. It'll come with (as far as anyone knows) a K4 and P70 coaches, both retextured to look like they're made of plastic. I'll be getting that this sale, it seems interesting.

Not yet, I already have everything I want. But I will get the model railroad route and UP FEF-3 844 if they're out during the holiday sale.

I just bought the Pacific Surfliner L.A. - San Diego route which is a flash sale for the next 8 hours with 82% discount for 5,39 euro, normally it's 29,99 euro.

Now thát's a bargain  ;D

Edit: Also bought the the railworks bundle with 82% off with comes with 4 routes. I already had 1 of them, so basicly I bought 3 new routes for 7,50 euro. How is that even possible?

So in the end, I got 4 new routes for 13,00 euro... Gotta love steam sales  ;D
