Those 4 cig 'Greyhounds' were lovely to travel in. Only bettered by those space age 442.

Ah.... How I miss my trips down to Spain... Always a 442 down to Portsmouth, a quick swim down with the Pride and then a 421 back to London*

TFM, it was Charing Cross for the direct line to Pompey, wasn't it? It was too long ago for my old grey cells. Frightening how you forget these things.

AWS, it goes off when you approach a red/yellow signal, makles a buzz sound and you have to click the button or it puts on emergency brakes

Thanks chaps. I'm quite worried about that- I'm not normally that forgettful. I know sometimes on the way back we ended up at one of the smaller stations- Charing, Cannon or London Br.... I'm sure of it. :-\

Yup it is, It's a safety feature is to make sure drivers are allert or awake. Just press the reset button, on the keyboard i think its "q" It was installed after a CN heavy freight train collided with a passenger train a couple of years ago. Thanks to that accident, the rails are one step safer.

I was so looking forward to the update to RW3 but my graphics card can't handle it very well. to get the best image needs all setting to maximum but then the game runs very slow a sim second takes about 2-3 seconds. Guess I'll have to do without the FX...  :'(
