It's the same for me as well - no panel control to open/close RED EAGLE's car deck doors.

(PRIDE OF ROTTERDAM's stern ramp works fine )

Try closing the map/radar, that should give an improvement of about 5 FPS  ;)

I did that - and got no improvement at all.... :/

Hi TFM,

I also did the same - there is a slight improvement in environments like open sea (but nothing spectacular), but I've seen no improvement in heavy environments like Rotterdam.

I tried in Dover - and got nothing...

I got a driver update which increased my FPS... by 1 FPS

I have reduced settings and now got my FPS up to 12-14 FPS :/

To be honest I'm in the same situation as you in that respect...If I take my graphics settings down I still don't get particularly good performance, so whatever I do, I'm stuck really. I can't take it all the way down, because the game looks awful :C, and in exchange, I still don't get good performance :sleepy:

I also have a new problem now...since the update, for some reason, about 5 minutes into my game, the performance drops right down to the extent that it's no longer playable. I don't have a clue what's triggered this ???

Gentlemen,
If reducing your graphics settings does not increase your FPS, that is because your graphics system is not the major consumer of the time between frames.  The time spent by the CPU in the computations necessary for ship dynamics, AI/Autopilot, little men wandering about, etc., is the cause of low FPS.

I have poor FPS of 6FPS  and reducing the CPU from 85% to just 10% still doesnt work...

Depending on your CPU, it could be throttled down because of its temperature. You can check it with for instance CPU-Z or Real Temp (http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1872/Real-Temp-3.60.html) if the CPU is Intel. Cleaning the cooling fins or checking if it is firmly seated could help.

Please try and start your game again! There was a problem with a new RSS update that should be solved now. Happy sailing!
I've updated from 1.3.0 (working properly) but not working. I've reinstalled the originall 1.2.2 and updated to 1.3.5 and not working.
I attached dxdiag and crash info.

FYI, it wasn't a complaint. All I wanted was to confirm with other users of this forum that I had the same problem as well.

I don't have all the bugs as reported by other users on this forum, for example RPA12 capsizing in the preview screen or PRIDE OF ROTTERDAM flying.

Haha yeah, I thought it looked hillarious . But I'll go ahead and correct it.

Why isn't the biggest bug in the game fixed yet?

If you sail into high waves, like the Atlantic Ocean, The ship goes underneath the water and stays there for a period ???and the water doesn't get over??

It was difficault translating it since I had problems myself reading it :P But it should be better I hope :S

I got the Steam version, is it a way to roll back to version 1.3.0.

The game was better before the patch, I can,t use separate rudder controls, when I redefine the keys, I can't turn left or reset if I use the rudder 1+2 command. I have reported it in technical.

For me the update was a great improvement!

Still some bugs (like ships committing suicide by bumping against at the quay wall and jumping away from it or the game crashing in some missions etc.) but at least I'm able to play the game now.

even if the frame rate isn't that high, it feels a lot more smooth - although still only one core is utilized.
It is a step in the right direction - I don't feel that it's a roll back.

I even look forward to the ferry pack - I didn't care for at all before the update.

I'm surprised to hear that only 1 core is still utilized, that should definitely be changed.  The patch did make a huge improvement in my framerate though.

Thanks for fixing the analog controls!   I use the Ship Driver controller, the old 1.3 patch made the throttle controls shaky whenever not set completely to maximum.  They work perfect now with patch 1.3.5!

Hi Spitman, that´s somehow... funny  ::)

My Ship driver and my ship console have now problems to find the zero-point. It´s now as if they stop reacting right when on 1-6 % away from the middle (on the way back to zero) and then I have to switch back to forward and back again to find a position where the machines go to zero. It´s also the same with the rudder.. (Of course I used all posibilities in Windows to set them correctly)

Hu,.. this patch really loves me

best wishes

I always assign N and B for Throttle reset and Rudder reset, try something like that  :)

Rudder 1+2 reset could be in use by another key..Either change it or try Input 2..   :)

Still some bugs (like ships committing suicide by bumping against at the quay wall and jumping away from it

I think I have discovered why this is happening.

In free roam I was playing PRIDE OF ROTTERDAM in Port of Rotterdam to see what it's like lowering her stern ramp at the ferry terminal. All fine until I deployed one of her FRC to have a look around near the vessel. Next thing POR starts to bump agianst the pier and suffered damage. (she was tied up to the pier)

In another player mission I was playing AGILE SOLUTION and as I was approaching one of the waypoints to tie at a berth, there was another AI vessel going past VERY close. Next thing AGILE SOLUTION starts to shake like mad and suffered damage (while still tied to the pier).

So I'm thinking these two incidents are connected - the playable vessel just don't like other vessels passing very close to them, especially when tied up at a pier.

Anyone noticed similar problem as well?
