I was hoping the Ferry pack was to be released sooner, now I only get to test it for 3-4 days before I am going to the military for a year :(
At least I get to try it out for some days(if there isn't any more delays)  :D

Somewhat similar!!!!  Some folks complain just for the sake of complaining. Why not look at all the good stuff instead of permanenly carping? Oh gosh, they missed out a buoy, how really dreadful.

And they've forgot the wee Maasluis ferry, MV Rozenburg  :'(

 Don't worry, I'm sure it was just a wee 'artistic' oversight  ;D

Please DON'T release this pack until you have the core game running.

The 1.35 patch is an unbelievable joke, don't they beta test before releasing?

Intresting that people call this game a joke. To me a joke is Railworks as it stutters and crashes like hell but this runs fine on my PC. And for others it is the other way round. But it will help if you tell them why you find it a joke as they can not fix what they do not know about.

Go and check the bug reports.

Sorry I need to stop venting about this but I'm not impressed with all of it's issues.

The number one problem I have apart fom broken missions now is that the rudder key (centre) now doesn't work and it won't let me map it to 3 different joysticks let alone another key. Try driving one of the faster vessels when you can't centre the rudder properly, it basically ruins the game. That's off the top of my head, there are many other problems as you will find in the bug thread.
I have a highend system and it runs ok but I wouldn't want to run it on much less.

My main gripe is it's nowhere near as polished as 08 in regards to most things and was released too early, the patch having it's own problems only confounds that. Pretty much no AI because of performance issues??

If it was a $10 game I would live with it but it's not a $10 game, it is priced up there with the premium stuff.

Too many companies are releasing buggy software these days and we shouldn't accept that otherwise they will continue to foist substandard items on us.

I've said my piece in a couple of threads now so no more venting.  :D

as355,

Why not post your dxdiag in the 'technical support' and some folks might be able to find out why you are having terrible performance issues with SSE?

Don't worry about posting your dxdiag file on this forum, it won't reveal any personal information about you. It would show stuff such as your computer's processor model & make, how many RAM you have and what make/model your graphic card, how old your graphic card drivers are, etc.

I've done this a few times and it has helped me a lot to pinpoint any problems I was having with SS2008 and SSE.

I was just wondering: Are there or will there be ferry docks/linkspans in New York for the Staten Island ferry?
On the promotion video, it seems as if there's not...

Will you be able to manuever the blue marlin sideways?

Like the other INcat ferries?

There have been quite a discussion about the red jet 4... and it would come in quite handy, if you could move the blue marlin sideways, because it is such a big ship..

Good news everyone!
Just got a mail from VSTEP saying

The Ferry Pack release date is coming closer, and the Ferries are ready to leave dock very soon.

I hope TFM is now pleased  ::)
