I've been tracking the ship with the marine traffic ais-service and it seems to have it's own tracking going on and broadcasting it over internet, like the voluntary land based stations
Usually when ship goes to the middle of the baltic it's going to be out of range, but this one is visible and all vessels near it too.
I could be wrong but it seems to be like that, and also with satellite-internet which I strongly believe is fitted to that vessel, it can be done.
There are some videos on youtube available, looks like it was little foggy out there, also the departure was a little late cause of some problem with propulsion systems.
