Good ol eBuyer, that's where we get most of our parts too :)

By the way, why do people buy expensive cases? You could save some money and buy better parts!

Besides, a case sits on the floor anyway most of the time :)

So do I, but you can get some nice looking cases for about £30 :)

That means another £30 to get the next upgraded processor or something ;D

I've had computers running like that, it's quite funny but I wouldn't recommend cardboard! :)

Oh dear :P Well I think I'm going to go with the Antec Twelve hundred case.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0017KMI66/ref=asc_df_B0017KMI661292846?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=nextagus0000092-20&linkCode=asn&creative=395093&creativeASIN=B0017KMI66

And a radeon graphics card since the nvidia ones are expensive
Now that is quite an expensive case ::) are you going to use up all the room it has or are you just buying it cause it looks cool? If you're just buying it cause it looks cool i highly reccomend you reconsider getting a smaller cheaper case. As adam said there is no use spending all that money on a case. Buy what you need, not what you want. And as for the G-card, NVIDIA is expensive for a reason, they're very good quality cards which follows the old statement, "you get what you pay for"  ;)

Matt,

My experience tells me that water cooled systems are more expensive, more prone to accidents (water leak and a fried computer!), more hassle to setup and about as effective as a proper air cooled system.

I would stay away from a water cooled system, and guess what? The water is cooled by a fan anyway! Also, the money you spend on water cooling could be spent on better parts ;)

Processor sounds good anyway, I would personally go for an Nvidia Card, but ATI and Nvidia are about neck and neck I'd say.

Also, to keep the costs down if you want, buy 4GB RAM first, as you can always upgrade later if the mobo supports it ;)
dont get the water cooling system.
if the fan breaks you can replace the fan...
if the water cooling system breaks... good bye computer
also you will need the right version of Microsoft Windows...
as some are there just to change some things (like comands)
BUT you will need a full Version of Windows. also Microsoft Windows XP is discontinued and there is support till 2014. Vista is not to good. Windows 7 i will say as the support of the computer is longer and there will more years till there are not much software getting made for it.
good luck mind you
