Yes there is actually. The improvement in the ocean system which should boost performance.

Though sometimes it's just down to how well a person is maintaining his pc. There's nothing a patch can do about that of course.  ;D

I thought I had to repeat myself since you obviously didn't read mine, where I elaborated on how it was perfectly realistic under the circumstances it is meant for and not different from any other control method you already might use. So you are entitled to keep repeating yourself, but I am not, you say?  ;)

Sorry if I was unclear in that question. I did not say that you repeat your self as you do not have. What I asked was, why you repeated my own words back to me. In my first post I said that I can just look away from using the controles in this mode, and you answered me with my own words. Maybe you just missed that part of my first post. And I have already said that I understand your points.

If you only want to get your own opinion in and totally disregard the validity of those of others, who in your eyes never seem to get your points, then there's indeed no use to further discuss it, perhaps.   :P

Please, if I have hurted some feelings of yours, tell me so and I will better me self. There is absolutly no need for you to treat a member like this. In my eyes so are the moderators here some form of represents of Vstep.

But I agree with you that it is no need for further discuss between you and me here around this topic. I also think that we discuss two different things. You seems to discuss wether this controle is realistic or not, something I do not bother so much about, and I trying to discuss if it possible or not to make it a choice to install all in an update or not.

Because that was a completely different thing; it was not a bug fix, and did not involve replacing modules. It added files, which could be individually chosen.

Thank you for the answer. I understand this. But I wonder if for example the radiochatter in this new update is part of a bugfix or is it part of a replacing module?

If it is not, could such adds in the future be made possible to choose to install?

Hi wiqvist,

Definitely, when you update a software, you update it, not only parts of it.
If you use a software version 1.1, then you update it to version 1.2, you can't have parts in 1.1, parts in 1.2 .... that would be a total non-sense.

It would not be possible to support software, where people would have only parts of updates, you would then have dozens of versions in parallel ... It's simply not conceivable.

About the specific point of radio chatter, I suppose it'll be like in SS 2008, where you can separately set the sound volume for it, before starting play.

Denis, thank you for your answer.

Then could it may in the future be separate update files and separate add files? Just an idea.

(And well, about the example I used in that post(the radiochatter), so said another moderator something else last time I brought it up).

I don't think this will be possible. As I said, it would be impossible to maintain different versions of the game. Moreover, don't forget Ship Simulator is a multiplayer game, which requires every player using exactly the same version, with the same features.

Hi wiqvist,

You didn't hurt my feelings, at all. No worries. Nor did I mean to hurt yours.

I just looked at some of your posts and reached a conclusion. Only human as I am, I can be wrong, of course.  ;D

You should know that in Europe a week starts on Monday, so both Saturday and Sunday is part of this week ;)

There is only about 2 hours of work time left though...

15:40 in VSTEP land...

work finishes at 17:00...

And then the work-week is finished...
