It's complicated but let's just say the synchronising of the releases is a major factor, yes.

You really push VSTEP in a loose/loose situation here Markus. You're annoyed that they postponed the patch, but if they released a rushed out patch you'd also be annoyed...

I'm not saying this as a moderator, but as a shipsim fan. I've been playing the game since it was released in 2006. The very first version was only available in the German language, can you imagine that? The game won't be perfect after the next patch, it will take a few more. I don't really care about waiting an extra week, especially since we are already waiting for a long time for SSE

Although your comment is right Ballast, as i understand reading the annoucment, the delay is only related to STEAM version and not about the patch been rushed itself. As i can understand the patch is already available internaly, and only the steam delay is been sorted out. I donÂ´t think itÂ´s fair for all of us as the weekend and the time to play something is near (the pre-purchase people including myself) BUT itÂ´s reasonable to wait a little more.
My only desire is that this patch worth the time! Now going to play another thing. See ya next week!

Seriously, Steam is something they know about, and they should plan ahead for that too when they said this week. I think they got a problem or two with the patch, so let them get it fixed because we don't want to install even more bugs.
