Maybe you should be bothered though, instead of letting someone else spend more time to write down, what he already has written.

It's on page one even...  ;)

Won't the shop get in trouble with the publisher for sending out the game early?

I reem to recollect the time when Tesco got into BIG trouble with a major book publisher for selling new Harry Potter books a day early before its official release....

Sonarman, in the manual, was there a keyboard control layout? Was there also a helicopter control layout...?

Hi dodweb
No heli controls as far as I can see (that would have been cool) The new water cannon can be controlled either with the mouse or the YHGJ keys though.

Considering that the game is locked until the 27th, I dont think it matters much...

And thanks for looking, sonarman!

Difficult to say, UK suppliers are at the mercy of the Royal Mail with it's highly variable delivery times so some may post a day or two early to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Anyway that problem is really solved now, as dodweb indicates, as the game even boxed product is effectively locked by it's activation date. I may have it in my paws right now... but I can't play it until it's official release date either.

Nice CalMac logo by the way Kevin. We need to keep pushing for our Firth of Clyde/Western Isles scenery & the Calmac vessels + Waverley to go with it !!!

Because the companies who took pre-orders have shipped the games out early, but it doesn't matter sincle you can't activate your copy until the 27th :)

It's just as well Vstep had a trick up its sleeve to ensure no-one is able to play SSE earlier than 27th August with the activation codes....the shop can consider themselves lucky they won't have an irate publisher on the phone!  ;D

Cheers re CalMac logo, the image actually comes from a CalMac ferry (MV Loch Shira) which has the CalMac crest on its side, and I just zoomed onto that.

I agree with the comment re Clyde/Western Isles and the paddle steamer Waverley. Hopeful something for Vstep to look at their next project, perhaps? (Ship Simulator 2013?  ;D)

I agree with Waverley - especially as it it something completely different to whats in the game at the moment - there is nothing like her...

but we are drifting off topic...

Me too, she is very much improved after her 2000 rebuild, before that she was a total pig!

so is the Multiplayer in SSE set up in the same way as it was with SS08? or do we just register the new lisence key for our copies of SSE onto our profiles on here and MP is then set up for SSE?

No, don't need support yet (as it won't let me install) so haven't done that. I'm pretty sure it will be fine as there are no other codes in the packaging and it looks to be a similar length to previous codes.
