What has changed in multiplayer?
« on: August 24, 2010, 09:08:05 »

Can we have an offical release of features for multiplayer?

Like is the environment more active. e.g being able to attach mooring lines to docks.

If this new release is nothing more than a gfx overhaul and a few new ships then I dont think I will be bothering.

We need more in multiplayer.

Hi DirtySnipe,

I'm afriad nothing has really been said about multiplayer on SSE at the moment, so you'll just have to wait until Friday to find out.

I can tell you that there will be much more to do in SSE, rather than look at the nice visuals :)

Hi TFM,

I would 'assume' that the servers will be setup for SSE for the release. Would make sense not to :)

Hopefully, we will still be able to host Servers like SS08...

GFS Dover-Calais in the same environment server...

That dont make sense. Wait till it has been released to find out what functions are in a product???

Why not get the makers to post what the features are then let people decide to preorder or not..

I want to get the bonus content if im going to get this game. So i need to know now really what the game features really include in multiplayer instead of a vague overview and nice gfx looking sim.

gfx isnt everything.

Are you just messing with us with that reply.

Its obvious there are different ship.

they kept bringing out more ships in the last product.

But that didn't really improve the multiplayer experience did it.

Same thing pilot a ship around and not be able to interact with the environment.

Hi Dirtysnipe,

Unfortunately we do not know everything about the game, since features change during the development process.

However as The Ferry Man correctly pointed out Frank did mention something about co-op missions in Multiplayer, which suggests that there will be more to multiplayer than just sailing around.

I'm afraid I personally cannot tell you any more than that right now, but I will ask one of our members of staff if they can give you any further information :)
