Leading up to the imminent release of Ship Simulator Extremes, VSTEP and Paradox have released 2 new game trailers showing ingame footage of the game.

1. The first trailer is a new official launch trailer that was released today at GamesCom Cologne 2010. This trailer shows a wide variety of gameplay footage and gives viewers a glimpse of the gameplay within the game.

2. The second trailer focusses entirely on the Greenpeace campaign within the game, which is one of the 3 campaigns in the game. The other campaigns are the "Core campaign" and the "Tourist Tales campaign", both of which gameplay trailers will also be released in the following weeks. The Greenpeace Missions trailer is a very extensive trailer running at over 3:50 seconds, and giving a good impression of some of the missions in the campaign and the activist action included.

Looks like the ships have engines that burn oil/fuel very efficient since there is no smoke to be seen?

Great trailers...

but is there something you're not telling us Frank... released in following weeks? SSE is out in only one week?

No need to see ghosts, the game will be available on the 27th. The new trailers will appear around that date.

Guess they dont want to release more trailers before the game is released (not spoiling too much for those who want to try it themselves), but also considering the fact that perhaps not everyone will be buying the game on the 27th and might need some extra... incentives.

Videos looks great anyway, I might have to upgrade my girlfriends PC as I'll be spending 3 weeks at her place starting the 25th ^^

Nice trailers. =D They give us enough of what we haven't seen before (the ship selection menu for one) and stuff we have seen in previous trailers. Overall, I'm defiantly excited from when my copy arrives and I can't wait to try out some of these ships. (Like Ocean Prince)

Looks great Frank. Amazing footage. Does the first trailer show what Free-roam will be like? I see it says Select Ship and it shows one of the vessels in the middle of the ocean. Just curious.

Edit: It's at 1:11 in the Official Release Trailer. I'm guessing it's Free-roam as it says Select a Ship and there's a next button. But these are my guesses

One quick difference is in the Greenpeace Missions video, the ships push waves from their bows, but in the Release Trailer, I can't seem to see any.

Think waves are limited to small ships only, looking at the videos.

Well the Coast Guard vessel didn't haven them(what does Cod mean? Cape Cod?

) But the Rainbow Warrior III and the Esperanza had them. Then the larger ships had none. Weird

We'll find out what happened in seven days

Ah, that makes sense. The Coast Guard station near my dads normally sends out helicopters, so we don't normally see their vessels

WOW, i just noticed the video.

Very nice, very nice! Great job!

I really like the video, i was always wondering how will these lifeboat deploying look like, and it looks just like i was thinking it will be. It's really nice to have the oportunity to arrive in the port with big ship and then deploy the ship to go on the shore.

I'm really looking forward to that! It will be the same with ocean star? Will it be possible to ride the orange boats, hoh i like them!
