Hope that VSTEP confirm a (very) nice powerboat soon :) A class1 cat and a formel1 would be totally awesome to be confirmed :D

You're right, Minime.

There are a lot more things to find, I know roughly how many, but not what they are and whether they have appeared yet.

Shipdud98 has got a point though, It doesn't really matter at the end of the day if it was in a screen shot or confirmed.
If this is supposed to be the official list of ships in SSE (for the moment anyway, until VSTEP make one)  it would be nice for all the other forum users to know it's in the game

I am unsure if this is the right place to post this. What was the word on ship customization?

I was going through the screenies yet again, and on the picture with the two whale chasers closing up on the factory ship with the Greenpeace at work, one can see the stern of a ship. It looks identical to the Agile Solution, but the hull is black - quite unlike the other screenshots where she sports a blue hull just like in SS08.
I've searched without getting any hits. I've considered color distortion, but I just cannot think of a way THAT specific color would be so distorted while all other colors remain perfectly undistorted.

Is it a different ship? A slightly altered AI-only model?

For the Unofficial list McGherkin, The Ocean Star has been renamed to Orient Star.

Righty Ho.

Oh, and dodweb, the Oriental Blackbird does indeed appear to be an Agile reskin, similar to the P6. Quite a few ships appear to have had this treatment, noteably Marbella Delight and the Ocean (Orient) Star.

Since the Agile Solution also appears in it's original colours, I think we can change the skins for ships (or at least some of them). It may be that it is an AI version, but I think it may be a P6-ey reskin.

Hi!
Please explain. Why are the ship caranes on the starboard side? I worked many years and didn't see from the starboard side. The navigator can't see a danger right out of the cranes.

If you look the Agile has a lookout forward of the cranes which would give them a
clear view ahead clear of the cranes.

Maybe, Maybe Not. We don't really know. I think Frank said early on that they were AI, but that might change.

I hope that change.
Otherwise I'm not really feeling like buying the game.

I really hope they change the Nisshin Maru from AI, also the Youshin Maru (if thats the one, sorry if i'm not correct :P ) because these vessels are what really sold the game to me, i thought it may be interesting to see those ships so up close and personal rather than having to look on from another ship :/ plus they are amazingly good ships when it comes to speed and controll, well the youshin anyway :)

Hi guys!

We were just talking about the same topic here:
http://80.95.161.114/shipsim/forum/index.php/topic,19111.0.html
Funnily enough!

And that the ships in the game (Kyo Maru type) aren't as responsive as the Yushin Maru types, and not as fast.
Not as big either.

Kind Regards

Matthew
