Perhaps I misunderstood Ryan’s intent, but I thought this was to be a list of specific ships that are known to be in SSE.

Didn't we spot the silhouette of this production platform in one of the released screenshots? I believe it was the screenshot where the RPA vessels using the fi-fi monitors near the Erik Raude.

Screenshot is from Nautis.

I think McG should continue maintaining this list as the only list until VSTEP supplies one.

I’d suggest, however, that you drop the “Official” in favor of something more tentative. Extremes is a new program and a new architecture. The new sea model requires all new ships even though they may look like some old ships.
There are technical difficulties in making the ships work that may necessitate dropping some on this list from the initial release.
The appearance of a ship in a screenshot or video is not an official confirmation that it will be in the release.

It was my understanding that the main purpose of this new section was to provide good information about SSE. There is a place for “cute”, but I don’t think this is it.

So, every time someone posts here you have to re-post it to keep it at the bottom...?

I don’t see that it needs to be at the bottom, although some posters seem to read only the last post in a topic.

We could consider making it a sticky at the top. How about that McG?

There’s nothing really wrong with re-posting at the bottom as long as the earlier posts are removed, but it is not likely to stay at the bottom for long.

Just FYI everyone, as a disclaimer if you will..

Even though certain ships are mentioned or shown at certain times, on screenshots or in trailers, these still might encounter difficulties in the final stages of the developement. Things might still change.

So indeed, the word 'ARE' in the topic title,  is more likely to be read as: 'PROBABLY ARE'.

Just as a note to prevent dissapointment and/or worse.. A lot of these style topics are mostly based on speculation and educated guesses, so nothing is sure untill it's here.  ;)

Regards,
Fred

p.s. these navel boats, do they come with playable fluff?

I think the Titanic is still under opinion on including her in the main game, putting her in the Shipyard, and my thought, putting her in an expansion pack. So Titanic's unofficial fate is undetermined yet.

Hi All
If you are going to have this I think this will be in extremes please try to make sure
members know its only you'r speculation's not v-steps
The Watchaven111 can not be in extremes because like the selsey11,flying cloud and selsey1 they were
created for the packs by the creators forum from A1 or static ships.
The Watchaven111 was renamed from Mare Austral and put into a pack for release as a player ship

I think we are aware of the fact that this is speculation, since on the list it says in big bold letters...

There is a vessel missing from the list. It was shown fairly close in at least one screen shot. Can anyone identify it?
