Ship Simulator Extreme's release date is kinda getting hard to find the real one. First it was Summer 2009 as SS10E, than April as SSE, and June SSE, and now August? It's like Vstep is trying to bump it closer to 2011. And where is the SSE Demo? Demos release before the full releases. SS06 and SS08 have demos and SSE's should come out months before the game fully releases. I saw a video dating back to May 2nd. Another interview with Frank Dolman and at the end, he said June was the official release month/date. I think VStep finally got confused on release dates.

Matt, don't be daft.  Everything you asked has been rechewed lots of times before.

It'd be very symbolic if the release date would be 11.09.2011.

I think VStep finally got confused on release dates.

Optimism

All programmers are optimists. Perhaps this modern sorcery especially attracts those who believe in happy endings and fairy godmothers. Perhaps the hundreds of nitty frustrations drive away all but those who habitually focus on the end goal. Perhaps it is merely that computers are young, programmers are younger, and the young are always optimists. But however the selection process works, the result is indisputable: “This time it will surely run,” or “I have found the last bug.”

So the first false assumption that underlies the scheduling of systems programming is that all will go well, i.e., that each task will take only as long as it “ought” to take.

If your speculation is true and VSTEP have nothing further to show or say, then why keep asking?

I asked once.. And if you read my first post, i said 'I hope i'm wrong'.

I hope SSE is a fantastic game, i suppose the longer we wait, the better it could be.

Definately look like the extremes "board" is here    Is it empty on purpose or waiting for people to post topics? I saw that it is possible to do so?

But better leave it alone for the moment or we might get an electric shock

Hi everyone,

For now, a general discussions board is all we need. Since there is no game to play yet, anyway.

The rest will get filled in as the release date gets closer, rest assured!

The new site will be launched very soon, so stay tuned.  ;D

If it had been up to Vstep, there would have been some new things to talk about already, but unfortunatly there were some technical difficulties outside Vstep's control that got things delayed a little bit.

Regards,
Fred
