Very nice boat but not layed out right for me. The living quarters are large whereby the toilet is tiny! Nice boat though :)

haha I was surprised the toilet looks small in the picture...but its pretty much average size
And Jack her crusing speed is around 20 knots however I highly doubt we'll do 20 knots due to the amount of fuel we'll be burning but her top speed I believe is around 25-28 knots not too sure :P

May Day is NOT Mayday. ??? May Day is the first day of May and the start of Summer. It is also a Communist holiday, or should I now say a Russian holiday?

One thing I did notice, which I was curious about, and seen it before on a lot of American boats...The gearbox - how does that work?

We used to have a heavy duty one on Mary, with the gear 'stick' on the left and the throttle to the right (Sat back to back on eachother)...Forty Winks has the 'all in one' approach. Its a lot easier, but takes a bit of getting used to...especially with the power in the outboard. I literally sort of, tap it, rather than push...otherwise she picks her heels up too quickly  - and Fleetwood are very funny when it comes to boats coming in at speed...It's funny though, since it's alright for the yachts (as in, sailing boats) to come in as fast as they want, but a power boat? no no no... - but they don't mind me so much, I'm sensible enough I think  And dad is generally always near by anyway...so all is good.

Anyway. Here's a old video when i start the Saab engine  :2thumbs:

the one in our old wood boat only has a single cylinder, and 10hp, but I must say those engines wont stop running, very reliable.
