Hello!

Oh i haven't been on the forum for a while!

These yacht looks amazing, briliant, wonderful!! I just can not stop to watch at it, it looks amazing.

Hope she will be at The Shipyard soon, i need to ride that yacht.

Well it looks my dreames are coming true!

WELL DONE! GREAT JOB!  :2thumbs:

Hey if you do accept, i have some ides about the light:

Something like these LED lights would be realy cool for a modern yacht like that.

The name of the yacht in the exotic LED colors like that:

Or the LED lamps on the entrance stairs:

Well i must say, these looks great on the modern and exotic yachts, and your yachts is modern and exotic for sure!!

But that's a lot of work again and all the other, so that is only my suggestion.

I'm a huge yacht fun, and i have seen many, many wonderful yachts all ower the world, and i must say, your yacht looks AMAZING!

Also i must say, a very smart idea, an Exploration Yacht, that something new, so i must say, very smart idea...

Can't wait to see the interior pictures, exterior looks luxury, with all these chairs... there are a lot of detailes and other, so hope the interior will be luxury too.

WELL DONE!

Kind regards!
Captain. Mitch

this would be my suggestion

Thanks a lot Captain Mitch for your comments! I think I'm going to use your suggestion for the lighting of the stern stairs indeed.

Merci Denis pour vos commentaires que j'apprécie beaucoup.
Thank you Denis for your comments that I appreciate alot.

The past 3 weeks have been eventful and very busy for me, add to that some unforeseen problems that took all my energy and that kept me away from the computer and I have not been able to work on that model for these past 3 weeks. Before that I had began the bridge. It is still very empty but I should be able to add all the remaining stuff and details now or shortly (seats, other instruments, wheel, throttles, ...and many things), though in a much lower pace than before because I'm now quite busy.
So here's the most recent state of that bridge, from about 3 weeks ago:

Here's your answer Tore;

Fred, sure I'd like to see that yacht in Ship Sim some day. I'm of course perfectly aware of the requirements and guidelines for that. I've read them in depth for my previous models, but so far, I lack of the right software for really making that model fully ready for implementation into SS. However, I'm trying to build her with that (and commercial quality) in mind and once I can purchase that (expensive) software, I'll have some additional work to do before sending it to VStep team. So not yet in the current situation, but who knows?... some day...

Let's hope some day is soon!

THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY LIFE PERFECT DOMINIQUE!!

Now it's turn on the VSTEP, IF THEY INCLUDE THAT SHIP IN SS, MY LIFE WILL BE A DREAM!!

Having this type of ship is what SSE needs

Maybe Later after a couple of Moths we can have this vessel in the shipyard

Just wondering is this project still active or dead?

Yeah.
Is this project still active?

Thanks both for asking and sorry for the long silence.
Yes it is. I've had some big uncertainties in real life and I've been very busy during the past 3 months, to the point that I was unable to work on that model, contrarily to what I first thought. If all goes well and since I've now much more time, I should be able to resume work very soon, most probably in a few days.

Not win? Indeed. But is it because it is not a cruise ship and then the topic is much less popular and no chance to win in the final pool (and thus resulting in a far lesser commercial potential as well)?
Or is it because you think that model is not up to the standards shown by some others contenders and appreciated by forumers in the CCC topic of the SS Extreme forum?
Or is it because, for some reasons, you already don't think it will even be able to enter the CCC?

As soon as I've a positive update on this work, I'll post here.

Best regards,

DVOMarineDesign (Dom).

It's very, very nice to see you working again Dom.  :2thumbs:

I'm sure your project will sucseed! Well, maybe it is not a cruise ship, but it is something new, a change, a luxury & discovery! That is  an intersting model wich gave us all we want, the luxury, the popularity, impresive design but also a huge research vessel wich can take us to the deep seas for huge adventure & exploration.

Like SSE says! From the tropical Bora Bora to the cold Antartic!

Well, oceanliner & cruise ships also are not the most popular vessels on these forum as i can see, but what i can see from modelers peoples talking, passengers vessels are favorites! So in CCC i can see everybody are doing yachts, cruise ship, ocean liner, ferries...

You model is really great, and also it is the most HIGH detailed as i think ( as i can see ), and i would really want to see it in the game, because as i sayed, i lvoe yachts & these yacht IS MULTIFUNCTIONAL! I mean we can use it in all envirorments, i all conditions and in anytime! That is what is so impresive about these yacht!

Well, after your model is done, send it to Roman ;D, he likes luxury, but he is also an adventure guy, because of that he created the world's largest and most luxury 170 meter yacht "Eclipse" but also another yacht wich is an exploration vessel, 115 meter yacht "Luna", and your model can give him all he wants in one.
Try to contact him.

Well, i'm sorry i can not decide about these two models here! I like cruise ships & yachts both, and thes love is HUGE, so i can't hurt any of them, so i can not give my vote!

The best thing for me that probably all of these models will get in SSE!

I mean VSTEP probably will not throw away all other models who wount win??? That would be so rude!

So probably all the model will end up in "The Shipyard", so i'm lucky these time, because i'l probably get the chance to sail these marvelous yacht, the giant oceanliner, maybe some huge ferries like ( Color ) and maybe something more...

Thank you all the modelers from my side!!

I'm waiting for some news Dom, hope there will be some soon!  Keep going! GREAT JOB TILL NOW!

Many kind regards!

Thanks Captain Mitch for the comments and encouragements!
Just a few new screenshots taken 3 or 4 days ago to help you to be patient until the completion of the model:

Work has now resumed on the bridge 2 days ago (my current big part of the work) and I'll post new screenshots of that room probably in a few days.

Thanks a lot guys for the comments.

So work has resumed and I'm currently working on the bridge. Here are 2 screenshots taken in the 3D program, just to see the progress and the general layout of the place. Several things and details are yet to be added so the upcomming updates will show it less empty:
