i decided to try and download from a sight which is naughty because u can download anything for free!

That is, indeed, very naughty.
Attempting to obtain and use an illegal copy of the game is a serious offence that has resulted in a permanent ban from this forum.

If you ever do purchase the game, you must contact an administrator or moderator and give him your legal serial key.
