Hi DJM, Thank you for clearing that point up. It must have been the translation that messed it up.

Sorry if I miss understood.

Hi Jazz! :)

You may say that they are cosmetical, but most of the new instruments show some sort of information. The radar shows echoes of ships and land nearby even though you can't interact with the radar. The rudder indicator shows the actual position of the rudder, the rev counter shows the engine's actual RPM and the log shows the present speed.

You can interact with the on/off buttons for the engines and with the button for the ship's horn.

ok i didnt think about that but it would help them as there servers wont be held up all the time if everyone did the same . its only a patch . no one else can use it unless they own the sim, put a code on it,, so if people with pirates have it they cant use it ,

Just for those with an interest, heres what the PoR bridge looks like.

PLEASE don't use the pictures to complain about the lack of X or Y console.

I'm quite surprised, I thought the bridge would be steaming with technology. Just shows that VSTEP weren't too far away after all. They just need to add 2 more consoles  ;D

I don't know, I think the bridge had a LOT of stuff to play with on the real ship. A bit different from the bridge of the P&O Bruges (ex Pride of Free Enterprise) which was only a little abve steam power by comparison.

But whether adding the extra console detail would have been a worthwhile use of development time is a different issue, imho.

Well things like that can be added at a later date, however the bridges before hand looked a bit lonely and empty but now they look great (as far as I can tell from the screenshots)
