When I first saw the NASA image of the U.K. covered in snow, I thought it looked like The Day after Tomorrow.

Looks like I might move to the UK since I have no snow up here. But you guys have to get 3-5 feet before that.

Have you seen the way they manipulate the statistics on these things though- by taking a narrow time frame to show 'coldest since time began' or by averaging the temperature over several months to show 'it wasn't that bad'.

Either of these two measurement systems can be used, but not when you mix them together as our full-of-integrity government is doing to justify our inability to be prepared (seems like other countries are learning from the Stalin school of mathematics too)

Once, I had a laser that had some very questionable shapes on some of the tips. Some of them I won't go in to. ;D

Let's just say that if you had been playing laser tag with some of these tips on and the neighbor happened to see the beam hit the window against the curtain, then you might have been 'talked to' by the police. Yes, they were that bad.... ;D

I have a pen with a laser AND a torch, so in the dark it looks like someone's pointing a gun at you, which is probably a lot scarier.

Don't make me post the Spike Milligan argument, because that isn't appropriate for here...
