Careful, showing your age now my friend :P
* [RWP]DJM keeps quiet about what systems he 'used to' own ;)

Whose to say I don't STILL use the C64  >:( Whats wrong with it?

What is the betting that someone takes that seriously and explains it. You know someone will. It is bound to happen. Stating the obvious is a past time for some people.

There are mods for all versions of Flight Sim that put them back in any way.  ::)

Oh right, thanks Orinoco. I'm not worried whether the towers are there in the game or not... But I did want the Concord in it... I tried importing it into 02 but couldn't get the cockpit to work :( and some of the download ones are ****.

True, but there are probably payware ones about. I tend to have payware airports and textures, but free planes (I can't justify paying £18 for one plane..)

I have not seen my James Cameron's Titanic Explorer for ages, not since 1997...

Haha, wow, they refused to give you that disc because the world trade centers were in the game?
It's amazing how their thought patten works. For a country that wants to "never forget", they sure are doing a good job of forgetting. (Yes, I'm also an American, but, I should be able to offer critique on my own country as well  :P  )
Couldn't the terrorists use other versions for training? And also how you said that, Stu,... banning it AFTER 9/11? The towers are gone, they have already brought them down, so why would the terrorists be training to run planes into the towers if they're already gone? Seems pointless on Microsoft's part to do anything about it, seeing as how it can be modded to put them back in. I guess they just don't want responsibility for anything, and are afraid that they will "offend" someone.. ugh..

And what I mean by that, about never forget/forgetting, is how they are always taking the towers out of media, and not showing other things with the towers in it. I just hope they don't make a movie where it takes place in pre-9/11 New York, but the towers aren't there, as if they never existed.

Sorry, the thing about the towers and 9/11, and how media and games and all of that has to change because of it... it just kinda.. annoys me. It's a "pet peeve" of mine, if you will. If the towers are in there, I say leave em' in. So anyway, my rant is over  :D

Anyway........

C64? Reminds me of N64. I still have the old Nintendo 64, but I never use it. In fact, I'm not even sure where exactly it is.
Now that I think of it, I had ONE boat game! In fact, I think they even had the Titanic in it  ;D
I also had a neat little game called "Beetle adventure Racing". But, then I got the computer. That was way back, a long time ago, around summer of 2001. Later I got PS2. But, I ONLY got the PS2 because Grand theft Auto 3 was on it  ;D :D
And now I have San Andreas for the PC, but now that disc/DVD is all scratched up  :(

And R.M.S. TITANIC, what's this "Titanic Explorer" you mentioned?

Titanic Explorer CD-ROM from 1997 contains TONNES of information about the ship of dreams: R.M.S. Titanic :).

I have:

1. Titanic Explorer

2. Titanic: An Interactive Journey

3. Titanic: Adventure Out Of Time

4. Ship Simulator 2006

5. Ship Simulator 2008

Hudizzle: I think that was MS code for wanting me to buy the newer version (which I did... minus the Concord)

04 i think. haven't played it for ages. maybe a couple of years back at least. bores the rump out of me.

In fact, I bought 02/04 whatever it was then never played it after a couple of goes. Disappointed that the flight dynamics are so unstable.

Capt. Spencer.

Sorry I didn't see your post... here's me ignoring your comment and talking total rubbish right over you.

I can assure you that this is me needing to get glasses rather than a lack of sensitivity.

Apologies. Glad she is OK

Scares like that certainly stop you taking people for granted, don't they? Hope that makes something positive come from it.

Good to hear that she's okey spencer!

Have a father and an uncle with cancer. I have cancers on both sides of my familiy so it doesnt look to good if I look into my future ;)

My father has a tumour on the tissue sarounding the brain, my uncle got spinal cancer which he just operated on and recently went in for radiation treatment.

Indeed, I would actually find it too difficult to rethink any strategy like that anyway........it's habit now ;)

All my DVD's and games are stored in alphabetical order and I know exactly where all my files are on my PC AND what these files are too lol (3 Hard Drives).  I know, it's a little obsessive, but that's me ;D
