There are three reasons for my school closing normally:
1. snow
2. temperature in the classrooms falling below 16⁰C due to boiler failure
3. Fire/Plague.

By the looks of it, school will be closed tomorrow due to reason 1.

Weirdly, I'll be sad if it is, it's the best day of my week in terms of lessons:

Lesson 1+2 at a different school doing engineering
break
Lesson 3 assembly
lunch
Lesson 4+5 PE (Duke of Edinburgh training, otherwise known as walking round a rugby pitch or five for 2 hours straight for your Queen and Country...)

we had snow before winter vacation in British Colombia school district 79.

too bad that the winter break is over

i used to sleep at 3-4am and wake up at 11. now i have to wake up 6:30.

i think we only had about 15 cms of snow and a lot of ice so far this winter in my neighborhood.

Same! I had to walk a mile from the bus stop to get home (I get 2 buses on wednesdays)
