Hi all!!

School has been closed as a result of the snow fall that we've got here!!

As you can tell I'm really dissapointed!

I will get some pictures of our house soon, we're almost snowed in!

I was extremely suprised when our Head Teacher decided to close the school...Usually we are the last school to close when something like this happens!

Sucks, my school never gets canceled due to snow. It did get canceled once though, the entire state was in a blackout for about 5 days.

Na' It's actually quite heavy, several cars stuck...Most of the schools are closed

Yeah, and I find it the same at my school..All the others close first, we're the last ones left open usually!

Welcome to Norway.... If you move to Finse Or Myrdal (if you know where it is.) there should be 14m of snow....

You don't need to go so fare to find snow, here are some pics from my town Kristiansand last year
we head up to 3 meter snow here in the middle of our city

Sadly I live in a building at my school, the college home and college itself are connected together, so no matter how much snow there is, we always get to go to school. Anyway, glad for you, always nice with a day or two off.

for some what odd reason my Jr high school i go to never gets canceled due to snow only heat waves or its to coled and its 4 degrees here in edwardsvill $:-\$ minus 5 from the windchill

This is what is happening in Bebington, Wirral right now. Our local council is running out of salt for the roads, so probably everything will come to a grinding halt very soon.

Supposed to get a bit of snow over night here, I'll have to see what it looks like in the morning. Fingers crossed no school!

AA, the reason why everything grinds to a halt with a few inches of snow here is because we don't normally get it bad. last time we had a fair bit of snow was March 2009, that was 18 inches. We might of had snow before but hell we are crap dealing with it

Big freeze? What??? Everyone is always like OMG!! -1!!! thats nothin.. Cold always reminds me of ice road truckers, trucking in -30 and -40 on cold days! Must be fun!
