I dont think that chart is right because even the Titanic is bigger than the Empire state building and the chart says Knock nevis is just as tall as Empire state.

Go check Titanic's length & come back here!

World's Largest Crude Carrier Jahre Viking. She is the record breaker of largest ship before Oasis of the Seas came. Jahre Viking was said to be scrapped by the shipbreakers sometime from now. Ship Sim would keep her memory alive if she is scrapped, like Ship Sim kept Titanic alive when she sank. So my suggestions for SS08:
VLCC Jahre Viking (Knock Nevis)
MV Oasis of the Seas
RMS Queen Mary 2
RMS Queen Elizabeth 2
MS Queen Elizabeth 3
and finally, Titanic's Hospitalic sister, HMHS Britannic.
Pictres in order:

QE3's twin Queen Victoria

Britannic is shrouded by Titanic's fame but is not forgotten.
Jahre Viking wasn't scrapped, Matt.

The CN Tower is missing from that chart.

Because people aren't careful during research, that's one of the most common mistakes people make.

even if it was the Chrystler Building, Titanic is still smaller by 12 meters and about 50 meters including  Antenna/Spire
and the building did not even exist back at the titanic`s time line

I had a PowerPoint presentation in work last week, something to do with pep management talk or whatever they were trying to tell us (I was not paying attention) there was a line which said:

"Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic."

What kind of idiot picked that up and used it in our PowerPoint presentation? Obviously someone was trying to be clever and impress the boss!   ::)

On that 1st image after the Emma Maersk the 3rd ship should be the TI class tankers (LOA = 380 meters)

Found a model of a TI class tanker on Turbosquid.  Looks nicely detailed.  :2thumbs:
