Whoa that has dopped - I always rembeberd that a dollar was about twice as much as a pound - ie you divide dollers by two to get pounds

if you divide something that is twice as much by two, you usually do get your starting value... Try it- it works on a whole range of numbers...

I remember when the pound was low in 87... I foget what the rate was, but it was a flipping expensive trip there!

Ferry Man, I think what you should have said is you thought a dollar was HALF as much as a pound. :o
