Lol  Jessie J is a populair singer/songwriter nowadays

I'm indeed on a Dutch..didn't you see that by the color of the ship?  ;D Final trip, i'll be starting at another company by the end of September  ;)

Hi Ballast - long time no speak  ;D - I guess with your comment above you haven't been on board the ex Broere tankers that have recently started to visit Hull. Just seen "Dutch Mate" sailing from the dock near me.

Anyhow, back on topic - some photos of ships...

Hiya Patrick :D

Nice to hear again from you :D I'm making my final trip now for Broere, on board the Aquamarine. I haven't been back on the Mate after the great fire. The Aquamarine is a regular visitor of the Baltic with her iceclass 1A.

It's not possible to go that close to a cruise ship in every port, but the cruise terminal in Venice is built very ship spotter friendly. I also think in europe the security regulations are not as stict as in the US since 9/11.
On the ferry to greece I asked a crew member if its possible to visit the bridge and he got the key from the reception and brought me up to the captain.

they are mostly tourists from all over the world.

trust me, i see bigger turnouts at the canal when a ship passes then at any other tourist attraction (old faithful, jamestown, kenzington runestone, etc.).

Than you could try a video format converter (do make a back-up copy of the file first!).
