i just did the math, and it turns out the Paul R. Tregurtha, the largest ship on the great lakes, is longer than Latitude by about 20-30 meters!  :o

Tregurtha and the great lakes have "Extremes" written all over.

Not sure how you calculated that, but the Latitude is 314 meters long while the Paul R. Tregurtha is 309 meters.  :P
So, instead of being 20-30 meters longer, she is 5 meters shorter.  ;)
