After creating a SU File that crashes my computer on loading up, I have realised my Channel Islands and St Malo and French Coast (And Cherbourg) in the Same Environment is not practical...

however... fear not, I have come up with a smaller more hopefully better environmental plan :D

It still has Jersey and Guernsey and St Malo, but sadly less coastline and no Cherbourg

but the bits are all in the same environment

trouble I am finding however is that SU adding Geo-Locations when you get too far away, they load, but aren;t right, so not sure how to get jersey and Guernsey and St Malo onto the same SU file  :-\

But fear not - I will work something out...

Call of Duty: Black Ops woes for PS3 and PC users

http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/12007261 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/12007261)

It just shows that even a big-name game can suffer from glitches. A couple of comments from people who have bought Call of Duty:

Twenty-two-year-old Ian Humphreys from Nottingham says it is "disgusting" considering "how much they have made in profit from sales".

and one player complained that Black Ops is no better than "an overpriced paperweight" because it freezes so regularly.

From what I have read, it would appear that only one 'hotfix' has been issued since the game's release 6 weeks ago.

Comapre that with Vstep, who have worked very hard to give us two patches, with a third one on its way shortly. All this achieved in a matter of a few months. I take my hat off to the guys at Vstep.

I see this makes allot of sense comparing SSE with Call Of Duty
SSE should win for this  ;)

lol, the point I was trying to make is that Vstep - despite their small business operation and much less profit margin - have worked very hard to issue two patches in a such short time, with another one due shortly.

Call of Duty reportedly made $400m in the first week of its release. The game developer could have used a small amount of the profit to set up a small team of bug fixers to work on a patch. What's been done so far? Just a 'hotfix' and still lot of problems with the game.

SSE may not be perfect yet, but I think we are lucky to have a company like Vstep who care about their customers.

(p.s. in case anyone's wondering, no I don't work for Vstep or have shares in Vstep!   ;D :P)

Hi Kevin,

I was only saying to Nathan yesterday, that I think the market is going too fast to keep up with itself...everything seems to be this way now. Apparently the new Iphone 4 that's been released is terrible too, with bugs galore.

Can't carry on the way it is I don't think.

Jack.
