Thats a good point - I didn't realise it was on a public boar, but just logged out and can get it easily...

I never posted anything in it anyway, but still...  :-\

Maybe they don't know yet - once they've seen the last few postings on this thread, hopefully they'll say something.

i hope so,
do you think that some areas could be used illegally by other (outside-the-forum) people?
i have checked Pc Data news and it shows that any forum or website can be illegally used and puplished in the wrong way.

i hope that wont happen here

Hi everyone,

'They' have obviously found a new way to circumvent the current security, at least, a few of them have.

Just so that you all know, we all very much appreciate your reports. As you can guess, there's lots of them coming in, so we simply don't have the time to write you all personal thank you notes. :)

But thank you all very much!!! You know how you all are, we're very glad you take the time to assist us in keeping the forum clean of such rubbish.

At the moment it's under investigation, with the help of the good SMF people, to get it all sorted. Up till then, we'll just keep on giving these silly spammers the boot. And your reports are an integral part of that, so thanks again everyone!!!

Kind Regards,
Fred

Have no fear :)

Thanks Tomaten.

I have clicked on "Report to Moderator" link a few times this week when I came across a spammer's posting.   :police:

I was only viewing his profile because chrome links me there, instead of the forum home, and I've not been in the mood to change it lately.
