Nah, the rain function is to suppress the echo's that are occured to the rain. Same goes for the sea function, it filters out the echo's that are caused by waves  :)

I wondered if the Rain was like a rain radar, showing you where it is raining... not sure if it would come in useful or not though...

I wondered if the Rain was like a rain radar, showing you where it is raining... not sure if it would come in useful or not though...

I've heared stories where people let the radar on when they were loading/discharging precious cargo like paper and such in an monsoon area so they could see the rain coming  :)
