Not bad indeed, very nice even!

I opted for 12 gigs of RAM at first too (it was either 6 or 12), but it would leave so much unused, I spent the cash on a better graphics card.

I got an i7 920 with 6 gigs ram and a HD 5850.. and it runs like a dream.

Yours should run very good too, even though the graph card is a little less powerfull, it can draw on extra power from the access RAM I reckon!!

yes you can, you have really close to 4 GB of RAM and you have a good quad-core processor which i think those just came out. fred can confirm

I wonder if the demo will use the same amount of computing power as the real game, I am waiting to see how the demo runs before I buy SSE, but I am worried that the demo might be so slimmed down that it will run when the game won't.

If there is a demo, there's no reason that it wouldn't draw the same amount of power as the actual game..
