Has anyone else eaten an apple and thought, 'this tastes like a banana' ?
Because the one I'm eating now definitely tastes like a banana.
But I didn't come here to talk about banana-flavoured apples, as interesting as they are.
In the screenshot below, you can see all of the file formats I can open. Does anyone know how to turn .skp Sketchup files into one of these formats? (ignore the bottom one)
My problem is that Fred attempted to make Xplorer (http://80.95.161.114/shipsim/forum/index.php/topic,15920.0.html), but doesn't think it looks right (i can't fault it, I don't know what he's on about), so I said I'd have a crack at it. I have Sketchup, and it looks fine:
However, me and SU don't really like each other, so I use a professional program called Solidworks. I downloaded an addon for Solidworks (the only such addon I could find) and tried to open the model. It crashed a few times, but it finally worked and promptly beheaded the good ship Xplorer:
So, I need a way of SU saving the files in a format that Solidworks can use.
HELP ME!!!!
