Hey :)

The magazine in the attachment was purely for the incident earlier. I'm going to remove it now.

Firestar - I think really the VSTEP server does that, as far as I know you're not really saving it to your hard drive. :)

Cheers anyway though! :)
Wait...this is official? I never saw that.

I wouldn't say official, it's just VSTEP kindly uploaded it to their servers. :)

Thanks, and don't worry they will! :)

If anyone has any high quality pictures (game graphics on high and as good a quality pic as possible) and would like to donate them for use in the magazine please reply and attach them here. Only two or three are going to be used in the magazine so two pictures that really sum up MP. So no pics of flying ships please. :P

Preferably pictures with a lot of ships and action going on. :)

Thanks,
Mike :)

EDIT: Found someone! :)

Hi guys :)

Matt suggested to me the other day a media section.

As you know we have a couple of pages with pictures already. These are supplied by Nathan in high quality for this section. So really we already have some pictures. :-\

However Matt suggested that it could also be used for videos aswell which I think is a great idea. We could also include pictures from players of multiplayer etc. (Not as fussed about quality)

So what I'd like to know is, would people find it too much to have the pics from SS pages aswell as an extra page for media with videos made by users and a few more pics etc? :)

People's opinions would be much appreciated :)

Thanks,
Mike :)

Hey Mike, Thanks for considering my idea ;)

Another suggestion is along with the pictures, maybe writing a small "Story" Meaning rather than having just the pictures in the movie, having a little "Skit" so like 3 paragraphs telling the story :)

Again Another suggestion

Matt

And Mr. Neeves that is what I was suggesting to Mike the other day ;)

I thought about Maybe a monthly cartoon...If someone had the capabilitys to do it. Like that time (Someone, I can't remember the name) made those print screens of SS06, and labelled them with jokes etc.

I think that would be a nice idea, too!

Keep it up, Mike...Looking forward to giving you my bit for this month, and the coming months, hopefully you'll like it/them :)

Jack.

Hey Jack,

That's an excellent idea, some sort of cartoon would be excellent! Perhaps a little hand drawn one by someone similar to what you get in a newspaper woyld be good. :)

I'm sure it will be excellent. :)

Do People that give suggestions get sneak peaks?    ::)

Or I could be an editor  ;)

I don't think anyone gets any perks! Or at least I don't anyway! The magazine is purely voluntary.

If I did sneak peaks it would spoil the surprise!! :P

I've decided to use Jack's idea of a little cartoon.

I'm looking for someone who is obviously pretty good at art and would like to draw a cartoon for the mag. It could be black and white or colour, and it doesn't have to be about SS as long as it's a humourous little picture to do with ships.

If you're interested, please say

Thanks!
Mike :)

Have to say the front cover looks extremely good

I know that theres been a thread going for ages now called ship quiz. You could include a few quiz questions (answers in next edition) etc

I started a thing for my now extinct website called guess the name of the ship, where i took a photo of a ship and 'altered' the image to blur it or have wavey lines in front of it - if you liked I could find them and forward them on to you if you wished? Just a thought  ;)

Cheers
