I'd thought i'd bring together 2 great British emblems...Dover to Calais in the same environment, and Christmas :)

And it looks like the FAIRMOUNT SHERPA has had a makeover as well.....don't know if this is for the SS Pro version only.

I have never really liked her green/blue/brown livery in SS2008 - just looking at her sometimes gave me a headache  ;)  :lol:

i found this video on youtube and thought it was ok (a lot of jibjab) but it gives you a good veiw of what the dover enviroment. On the first day of Christmas 2nd Quart 2010- Vstep sold to me "12 empty MP servers, 11 flying tankers, 10 weird bugs, 9 pages of EULA, 8 wind/wave settings, 7 fantastic boats, 6 great missions, 5 not-bad missions, 4 DoCa ferries, 3 Superseacats, 2 Ferry terminals in one environment, and a ferry up a pear tree"

Who says it's Vstep? SS Pro has much better graphics.

It's a Kongsberg simulator at the nautical college, where im currently following a radar navigator course. It was the last exercise before the exam tomorrow. We were enroute from the south east going lane in Dover strait to Calais. We had some time to kill, after picking up the pilot [as you can see on one of the pictures] we entered the channel to the port of Calais.

How is WM going to do his 24/7 with this going on?

In the night of Monday 30th November and Tuesday 1st of December we will upgrade our main Ship Simulator database server with new hardware and software. This upgrade will commence at 0:00 CET and will take approximately 7 hours.
 
During this downtime the ShipSim.com website, forum and MP servers will not be available.
For security reasons the payment system on ShipSim.com will be taken offline earlier, at monday 17:00 and will be enabled again after we have checked and verified the entire payment process.

They are only doing it so they can delete the Dover - Calais in the same environment campaign HQ rather than admit their mad policy of excluding Dover - Calais in the same environment is total insanity.
