Ingame description of the vessel:
The SS United States is the flagship of the United States of America. On the ship's maiden voyage to Southampton, the ship stole the Blue Riband away from the RMS Queen Mary. The United States still holds the Blue Riband for Westbound crossing, but in 1990 the ship lost the Eastbound crossing to Hoverspeed Great Britain. This ship is currently moored in Philadelphia and is awaiting restoration or being sent to the breakers.

Personally I think that the United States is a little ugly myself, (Not in any way saying your model is bad!

)

I'm sure there are lots of holes in a ship that isn't finished, and even some in ones that are. Just not below the bow line
