VERY impressive!

I would have waited for actual blue prints instead of simply approximating, personally, but that's just me ;)

Do you have permission from NCL before considering applying for this to be in the game?

No, I did have some blueprints. Other than the hull, none of this is approximation. And NCL is putting her up for sail mate. I want to get this more done before contacting them so they actually see something in it.

Oh, okay. Scratch that, then.

What about the NCL matter? It could also be a consideration to have some of the money from each purchase from the shipyard go to restoring the real deal!

That was what I was hoping to set up. I don't know though, thats up to VSTEP.
Also, if anyone has bridge blueprints, that would be great because I would love to start the bridge model.

Watch some of the details of this video:

I had seen part of one of the cranes, and it might also have a short video on the bridge.

Sure Diamant, how is this any better?
Sorry, that sounded rude. I did not mean to type that how, sorry if I offended anyone. ;D

I can't help but think of the Battle Hymn of the Republic ;D

I wonder if anyone ever thought of using that in a tribute to this ship....

Not yet. I will do that later. After I fix this subsurf modifier error. There is a problem where the hull meets the deck. I can do that after I fix it.

Hopefully you can keep the texture limit in mind :-\

And poly limit :P (Rivets are usually too much)

Or, you could make like Jason and release an initial version with the basics complete. then work on details as time goes on....

Tssk tssk...now, now. Lets not go starting fights Diamant. I fixed that weird bit at the bow if you look here.
@ Gigantic. Yes, I do look at Jason as a 'figure to follow' for lack of a better word. I am about to attempt to make hull plates. Wish me luck! (As a texture of course)
If anyone could find me some pictures to get a good idea about how large they were, that would be of grea help.

Thanks Mike. I know ships have that curved up look, I will give that texture that sometime soon.

Oh, you meant making the plates and rivets as part of the texture?

phew!

Anyway, I know that plate and riveting patterns usually repeat, so it should not be a problem there.

Yes, I have seen it. I check it very often. ;)
EDIT: I am still working on fixing those 'deck meets hull' problems. I am almost done with thm. Just a few more things to clean up!
Yet another edit: I fixed those problems! It was easy. All I had to do was put a crease (Not what you guys are thinking) A 3d modeling crease into the deck so it would fit right into the hull.
