I don't know the name. But I suspect she was converted to razor blades at allang (sp)... or she was converted to an armed merchant cruiser.

I imagine they did the same as the British and Americans and cut the superstructure off, cranked the funnel uptakes to one side and put a flight deck on top!

New one: name of this ship (1938)
"ordered by a Norwegian shipowner, but was bought on the stocks by Buries Markes.   Her early voyages were mainly to South America carrying coal out and grain home - a typical tramp trade."
