Weird Looking.

I was just playing SS and I noticed something weird in the animation for Lighthouse Interactive. Right as the guy with the rain poncho enters the door you see his face for a split second. He kind of looks like an alien!  It's kind of cool. Maybe they're trying to tell us that Ship Sim was made by martians a subtle little way.

Well, yes, of course. That's my 123rd name. I thought that was obvious.

In Eastern Europen countries there are Patronyms and Matronyms. And there are other variations. For example, in Czech, the term "ova" is added onto the end of Spambot's last names to indicate that they are Spambot. Don't quit eunderstand why they do that, though. I find it quite easy to tell the diference. Maybe you Earthlings aren't as good at it as us aliens?

In my universe we have 8,123,988 genders. More on Thursdays and Sundays. I can't translate the terms that we use to describe our lineage into your simple Earth languages.

But my nickname is "Terry". My real forename is Terence.

PS did you know that Nickname means "Devil name"? "Old Nick" is the English name for the Devil. The opposite of Nickname is "Christian Name".

It's easy to understand. For example, in Russian language He will be Он ("On") & She will be Она ("Ona"). So if the man's surname is, for example, Ivanov, then his wife's surname will be Ivanova. The same is in some Eastern Europen countries.

Yep. I understand how it works. It's the "why bother" bit that escapes me.

Here, my wife would be Mrs Russell. That's the give away. In Eastern Europe, they will use the equivalent of "Miss" or "Mrs" as the person's title, and also the "ova" (or a variation) at the end.
