the hovercraft looks like a great and fun "ship" ,if thats what you want to call it, to "sail" the seas with. I wonder what the missions will be like?? The hovercraft does look a little cramped though. Does anyone know the top speed of the hovercraft? I wonder if it has good handling and performance and easy to read controls.

the hovercraft shown is an 98 seater ap1-88/100s. with a slightly newer one called island express working alongside it. both are allowed to go at 40knts in passenger service but have been sighted going 60knts. hovertravel also have a brand new 130 seater BHT-130 running alongside which took part in the cross forth trials a few weeks back. the BHT is called solent express and all three craft take between 7-10 mins to do the 5 mile solent crossing. they run every 30 mins off peak but every 15 at around 8 am and 5 pm. hope this info helps

Yes it is look at the videos bottman posted. They modeled the hover pads.

We can't post any pictures of fairmount fjell yet. The simple fact is that it isn't in the beta... 

From where did you get that idea?!  I think it the annoucements have made it very clear that there will only be two new playerships: The hovercraft and the jet ski.

Yes but these videos are very old... Even the title says SS 2007!! 

If you read every official announcement on the 1.1 patch, nothing is mentioned about the Fairmount Fjell - only a jet ski and a hovercraft. So I was just wondering where you got the idea that the Fairmount Fjell should be in that release... but now I realize that you just made that up yourself.

Let's get back to the hovercraft...
