first of all, thanks a lot for your feedback! that's exactly the kind of feedback that i need!

to get straight to the points you named,
the glass wings,
that's indeed something i was wondering about, there is nothing to support the frame or to absorb the energy of the ship's vibrating and bending, so i will note that one down to my to-do-list. i might add a frame between the 2 wings and a suspension joint on some places.

the aft decks,

this one is going to be tricky, as i do want to keep the slant design of the ship that way, maybe i can figure something below the unused space like lockers or deckchair storage.

the antennas on the aft deck are indeed more logical to place higher.

the radar on the mast can use a fix indeed, i kept the model quite basic without looking to pictures of extising radars.

the windows on the bow,

as it can't be seen on this model, i kept in mind that those windows were made of strengthened glass if not plexiglass that's strong enough to withstand the tons of water rushing against it.
it's something that's never done before and it seemed something completely new to me for ocean liner architecture.

the pilars will be made thicker as that's not a big problem or huge task to fix.

i will see if i can add some windshields on the top deck in front of the tables.
there is enough space for that.

the bridge chairs,

the table in the middle is a chart table, in case the crew want to stand at the table they can move the chairs far enough so it won't bother them or block their paths.
in case they have a meeting or something they can sit at the table aswell.

staircases next to the flowrider,
those 2 small staircases right next to it aren't real staircases, they are more railings for people who have a little more hassle with getting off one of the sun platforms.
the one which is a little bigger next to the flow rider is because that distance between the 2 platforms is too high to just step on it without climbing.

shuffleboard games,
i used a random image from google as reference, so i had no clue if it was right or not. now i know it was wrong i can fix it to the correct numbers and other details.

once again, thanks a lot for your feedback.
i hope i can finish the converting by tomorrow, should i send it to you as a X. file for VS? if yes, i can send the file to you tomorrow morning right away. just don't mind the alpha map issue then.

now im going to take a nap, it's 01:00 here at the moment.

uploading all these images took more then 30 minutes... thanks photobucket..

Will we see this ship at least in SS Passives or SS20 or SS56 by any chance?

Or it'll be our grand-grand-grandsons that will sail it?

Ship Simulator Extremes to be precise.

Hello all!

Well, from these shots we can see how huge progress you made mr.robvil, and how complicated job have you done, all your hard work can be seen.
I can't imagine how do you feel? You must be proud on these marvelous work, it is really great, and it is just a question of time when Royal Caribbean International, Cunard, Carnival or some other company will call you interested in your model, trust me, these model is worth investment.

But if the Rock Climbing Wall is to complicated or takes too much polys, i remembered one more important feature of oceanliner/cruise ship you forgot!

On a long cruises across the ocean, peoples can get bored, so they need many features to have some fun, and on of the best things peoples like on cruise ship/oceanliners is the open cinema on the sun deck!
That is excelent for afternoon enjoying during the across the ocean travel, to sit back in the deck chair with the cocktail in you hand watching the movie under the beautifull sunset and wind in you hair.

See how it look

So if there is more polys, your time, and if youw ant it, you can add id.

Many kind regards!

Hello all!

I know i'm probably annoying with my suggestions, opinions & happynes, but i can't stop watching at these ship, it is so wonderful and i just want to make it better with some suggestions if you think it is OK.

It is nice to hear that you will maybe include the huge flat screen! That is very nice add-on to the ship.

But hey, here i got new idea for the sun deck, a small details if you are still looking for some details...

Small VIP corner:

A small VIP corner on the back of the sun deck would look very nice as a small ship detail. Most of luxury ocean liner/cruise ships have it on the back, and it really nice to be there, that is the wonderful place wich gaves the luxury to the ships and makes it even more luxury and modern wich goes as an compliment for the largest passenger ship in the world.

What makes the small VIP corner?

Well, not much, just two beach umbrellas on each side ( 4 beach umbrellas ), and some luxury chairs and low tables under the beach umbrellas.

Here it is how i imagine these:

Position on your model:

How the beach umbrella should look:

A white beach umbrella with wooden stick ( like on the picture ).

How the chairs should look:

How that looks on some ships:

So that is it, i think it shouldn't take so much polys.

:-\ but these is just one more stupid idea, it is just a suggestion, but you can decide, if you had some time, polys, and if you think its good, you may try to do these.

Many kind regards!

Hey Capt Mitch

Sadly, as posted HERE (http://80.95.161.114/shipsim/forum/index.php/topic,22390.msg298499.html#msg298499), the Oceana is actually 200,000 polys too heavy...  :(

yes indeed, however i found a lot of items which can be reduced by polygons redicilously.
but im affraid there are no more details to be added as when this ship is done with optimizing, it might be tight on it's polycount if not a few polygons above.

im trying to do my best at keeping all these details already added.

You did not put the bow thrusters on when it says there supposed to be there.

true, but making just a few simple holes inside a hull takes up about thousands of extra polygons, polygons which i don't have.  ;)

maybe i'll make some dark spots on the texture indicating the bowthrusters.

that will also be nice
anyway you probably wouldnt be able t see them in SSE anyway.
maybe only on bora bora but the black spots will make them look like holes so i think that is a good idea

Hi there,

There is not official word from VSTEP yet about the release date for the CCC models. Rest assured that as soon as VSTEP know, they will announce it :)

the importand displays will be added such as radar's speedometer ect.
i had to remove a few details because of the tight polycount.
