thanks a lot you like it.

my computer is still detached, tomorrow i can install everything again and show the bridge i finished tonight.
i can already tell, closets have been added, tv screens showing general arrangement plans of the ship.
a sitting room at the starboard side. a blueprint on one of the desks. and much more other details.

i think the only thing i need to add is a bigger light above a desk and maybe some other minor details i didn't come up with today.

updates tomorrow.

I deleted the steering wheel as i just realized that azipod propelled ship's don't have a traditional steering wheel.
The Orient Star has a steering wheel on her bridge.

Haha, would this thing fit in any of the ports in SSE?  I run aground often enough with the Orient Star, I can only imagine the headaches this beast would give me ::)

Well, I guess the bright side is that ocean travel time is greatly reduced.  The ship's so big that her bow will reach her destination hours before her stern does

''Oceana mission - Walk from southampton to new york as the ship moves 1 meter'' maybe  :D

i just installed my computer again, and i took some screenshots of the finished bridge.
i added 2 chartholders on the wall, and a bigger lamp above the chart table.
also because you guys noticed, i readded the steering wheel:

homage to Hudizzle, as he is a great help to my titanic project and i may use his paintings:

officers lounge:

bridge - Done!

only thing left: Sundeck.
current polycount: 227198
90242 polygons left for the sundeck. should be enaugh ;)

thanks!

i did some work on the sundeck, both decks are added, balconie railing added, new logo added and one of the staircases being built:

still though i want to change the entrance to the staircase to a bit more grand one instead of a small ''backdoor'' like entrance.

Incredible! ;D

The entrance bit is a good idea. Maybe change the stairs on the aft section of the boat deck as well?

thanks!

funnel and ''wing'' glass structure added.

i optimized the ''wings'' from over 14.000 polygons to just a bit above 6000.

i also changed a little of the funnel's look, as i deleted the ''wind guider'' and added a detail stripe instead.

last update for tonight, the railings are added on the ship's side and some supports between the sundeck and pooldeck.

a list of things left to do:

decklights
fire prevention
pool
deckchairs
tables
deckgames
running court
antenna
flags
cable with lightbulbs between forepeak, antenna and funnel.
bar
restaurant are above bridge
and any other detail that will come to my mind.

maybe i will add a minigolf course and a climbing wall aswell if i have enaugh polygons left.

i can add that to the optional list thanks!

im currently making a backup of my PC as the hard drive was making some weird sounds which i remember it could mean the HDD can die any moment. so it takes a few hours to get everything on a portable HDD. the oceana is already backed up in case you might wonder  ;)

so if my computer decides to explode or something i still have all my data and i can continue working on my laptop as all the files will be placed there aswell.

i think i can continue modelling somewhere tonight if everything is coöperating.

What is the purpose of the desk in front of the "grand" staircase?

Also, how is the idea of elevators nearby to the stairs? ;)

there are elevators inside the staircase, however you can't use them
see:

 ;)

im still deciding what to do with the desk, shall i make a reception desk of it or shall i make a bar of it?

i have also done a little work on the ship

i added the basic structure above the bridge:

and extended the railing along the enclosed part:
