These are really great boats. It would go really go well in the game. If the Channel Islands were included it would be quite challenging approaching Guernsey!

I reckon a boat like that would be great to put in the game. We don't have any catamarans in the game yet

au contraire: Red Jet 4 is a catamaran.

But I agree, it would be good to have.

Fantastic vessel, done several "ahem" booze cruises on these ships!   The company offer a very good deal of been able to pop over to Gurnsey for the afternoon, do some shopping, have dinner and catch the last ferry back to Poole.   Very highly recommended for all those whocan (I dont work for Condor by the way  ;D)

On a simular note a few years ago i was ChOff and a 15DWT tanker heading East up channel when the Condor Express crossed 5 cables ahead and almost the same time the Condor Vitess crossed 5 cables astern!  It was almost like being in SS!

It would be easier having Brittany Ferries 'Normandie Express' instead, then you can do Portsmouth - Marseille, two ports already created in-game. The cats are the same class, they will just have differant liveries :)

Despite Marseille being on the South Coast of France and no such route existing ... and it wouldn't actually be easier because the boat would have to be made still!

but would you rather make the boat, then make the route (portsmouth to marseille)

                                              or

make the boat, make the route and make the channel islands/northwest france ports?

If you're looking for a fast ferry... why not one of the Superseacats that used to work out of Dover...

Lovely boats to travel on. Very manouverable- as we found out one time when the skipper decided to change course rather abruptly. The worst waste of a pint I've ever seen :(

PS. Yes, I do know they aren't catamerans before someone tells me. Nor are they deep vee monohulls as they are also sometimes called.

Stu

EDIT: Does anyone know what angle a vee hull becomes a deep vee? I was told 35, but just found a source to contradict that.
