Nice idea..

I voted for all the historic stuff.
Hope you did not ment the very old woodships.
But I would say nearly everything built after WWII has something interesting for me.
Limitations to Design and Shape were not as much as today... and so on.

At the end I would nearly buy every boat that comes up in the shipyard.. so guys.. make your money.

I really want that too, but maybe in a alonestanding game.
Cause I donÂ´t know any semireal navalbattlesimulators.
And I know Dangerous Waters, Pacific-Storm and (rofl) Battle of Midway from proudly EA-Games^^.

I think we should have more historic ships. Mostly steam powered from the good of days.

Some coasters, 50's and 60's Dutch or German (esp Sietas built) types, maybe even the ubiquitous Yorkshire coaster, built here in Hull in the 80's and 90's

I want to see an old Trawler like this, as we do not have enough trawlers in the game, i recently asked a few people that were into the North Star fishing trawler and they said that the had lost interest in the trawlers because they only had one.

Anyway, here is what i'd like to see, this is a trawler in my local fishing port, Fleetwood. (She isn't used as a trawler anymore)

i love the northen star and see more fishing boats. but they would be alot better if we could use the nets some how. as for warships, if we want coastgaurds alot of nations like the UK use navy vessels. the river class has a gun doesnt mean it has to be used.

Couple more passenger ferries I think would be good. Some catamarans maybe or big but slow ones like the stena caledonia or something.

Hi all,

I would like to see more cargo ships, tankers, containerships, ferries (conventional and high speed cats) to keep SS more of a simulator as opposed to a game.

For me personnaly I don't see the attraction in the older steam ships or sailing ships, thats not to say they shouldn't be designed for SS as the people who want to use these ships could add them through the SS shipyard (or whatever it's called) it would be nice to have them as an option but I think bigger improvements need to be made in the way you interact with the ships a bigger difference in the steering and engine response times between older ships and modern ones to keep it more realistic.

I agree with Pigdog, but add 'Tugs'.

One more tug, an ASD tug (such as a Damen ASD2810) would be amazing. Although I'd love to see a Voith Tractor, we have the Bugsier 2.

After that, I'd go with the whole Ferries/Tankers/Cargo/Container crowd.

i would like to see a diffrent fishing vessel like maybe a shrimp boat or a crab boat. Also maybe smaller passenger boats and inland cargo ships

I think we need more small boats too. I don't so much think we need to drive them but use them as just AI, because in places like Phi Phi and Cornwall we can't have all of our traffic be container ships that hit gound as soon as it enters harbor.

Inland ships and inland waterways!

I Really would like to see an inland enviroment with canals, locks and inland harbors.
And offcourse, a nice 110m inland ship.

Yes, i agree Llamalord, i have mentioned that before, more "general harbour vessel's" are needed, like my dads boat:

I think more vessel's like my dads Colvic Watson would be nice.
