those boats are always going to look like that and they are seriously old. so you will start to have problems with the outdrive if it has not been looked after

i really dont care if they are old and i can fix outdrives they are the same as a car engine and drive train..  And they are not always going to look like that im not going to leave is as is i was going to fix them up get new paint and such.  Plus i had cars older than that and never had problems with them.  The older they get the less complicated they are

I have a 135_hp stern drive (Inboard/outboard, out drive) and I was just looking at 210_hp drives and they cost about $11,000   That's pain for your wallet.

Two years ago, I replaced the engine and stern drive in my boat. Single 360HP Volvo Penta. Cost £12,000 when all was finished.

  what you just said is like saying that the interior of a car cant be fixed or replaced.  I know how to fix the interior of a boat or a car i have done it to many of my friends toys

In actuality it might cost less to get one of the older boats.
