White is much better than Black (in terms of the iPhone I should say!).

Agent, just so you know, I have a 32GB iPod Touch (iPhone's far too expensive, price plan-wise), and I'm currently using 25GB's of it's memory with music. Another gig is being taken up with photos, videos and Apps.

I agree white is far better than black. And grown-ups use more then children do. For my employees, and myself I bought a white iPhone 16GB, mainly for GPS.

Also take into account that the '8' and '16' GB amounts are pre-format capacity. With my 16GB, I have 14.4GB due to formatting.

I'm not sure what the 8GB takes up, but I am guessing you would have 7.4GB and not 8GB.

Anyway, I need to store photo's on there, maps, files, and of cause music.

The stupid touch screen is annoying though, you press one thing and it something else happens [and I my fingers aren't fat

i like white more than black it's a more elegant and modern color. (that's my opinion)
and agent austin can't you not just be happy for someone else, just because he has more GB? doesn't mean you have to be rude thought?

I believe also, in agreement with Maritiem that white is a more modern colour. All older phones are black and white is something new and different, it also makes the phone look larger, yet stay the same size [when places of a desk]

Infact, I'm certain you meant it to be rude, because he had a higher/special edition model. Starting off with ''And white gets dirty'', when someone is saying they've bought something new, is rude.

Here's a more appropriate way of wording it...

Hey [Name], that is cool, I also got one, but in black, I think that white would get dirty. I only got the 8GB one because I personally wouldn't use much storage.

I would like to suggest that we get a neutral and friendly tone going in this topic. I'm sure we can all agree.

Austin, your comment could be interpreted as being a bit belittling, because that's how I read it too. It's the choice of words that makes me see it as such aswell..You could have easily chosen a slightly different tone, and I suspect you are probably aware of it, to be honest.

I've had to edit your langauge in this topic twice. Please be a bit more carefull, you never were the type to do this before, so I hope it's just a temporary thing...

You can express your opinion all you want, you know that. But if you choose a certain 'tone', so to speak, people will read it as such. And then their reactions are logical, and I believe even justified. But that's just my personal feel that I got from your post.

Maybe you did not mean too, but even I saw it as slightly rude. The choice of words could have been much better. There's having an opinion and then there's the way in which it is expressed.

And you could have at least said sorry, instead of being a smartypants about it. You've indeed been here long enough to know how it works and you chose to ignore an edit/warning, two times in a row. Don't change the subject, you violated forum rules three times in a row in this topic. There's nothing else to it, really.
