Heya all.

Thursday, 19 (?) July I will be going on vacation. For at least 3 weeks, so it may be more. I am going to Drenthe (province in the Netherlands) to a camping with family and friends. I do this every year.

LOL, I don't really, but a friend of mine did when he went to Spain, so we understood staight away why he was still pale faced when he got back!

I will however take a laptop with me to Ireland. Most of the time I will be out and aboot with my family, but in the evenings when we've finished our days galavanting and come back from our meal, there's not a lot else to do until the next morning. And Irish television (at least on analogue) leaves much (and I mean MUCH) to be desired.

Well come to think of it if i had a Laptop i would take it to somewhere like Ireland because i have about 11 years of what Irish Tele is like.

I went on holiday on a ship. P&O s excellent Pride of Bilbao. Took my laptop and some good dvds.

Satellite phone was broken (so the mobile network onboard wasn't on either) no internet... it was bliss. 4 days of no one phoning me or emailing me problems... No one but me and my friend stella (Artois, the lager that is)..
