I am a bit late but ok fred, i got it from the original page, the one where the game comes from, the file is on more then one server but while downloading it switches between a few.
If you cant get it, no prob...dont know where you live but maybe i can send it to ya or make a torrent file of it.

Best Regards, Frank

Hi guys,

Thanks for the offer Frank. Much appreciated.

It does however give me the 400+ MB file today, so I guess they just had things messed up on their site.

Downloading it now to have a look at it. I suspect the series is better to watch than this game is to play though.  ;D

Regards,
Fred

Still, the download wont even let me begin it. Before the download starts"The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete. This could be the result of a failed download, disk or virus." :-\.

So, you mean they are putting the demo back and taking it out for reapirs? Sort of like patching it up a bit?

No the game, it was suppose to be released a month ago but they keep "fixing" it, not the demo...

Yes, its getting really annoying, i hope they don't delay it again, they are probably already loosing valuable customers because of the amount of times they have delayed it.

I think I am just not going to download the demo unless I am 100% sure that it is going to work :(. I cant even get 50% finished until it encounters a problem >:(.

I just checked my amazon pre-order and the they claim that it will be delivered on August 3rd with standard 5 day shipping meaning that it was released Today and it even says later down on the page that it was released today.

I think this info is a reocurring rumer. :-\

so thats the main reason why they didn't released the game in europe yet?

The previously posted link to the demo repeatedly gives me a 2.94 MB file to download, and that is obviously not right. "corruption" error when you try to run that. I tried using getright, but it only ever gives me a ~3MB file.

Does anyone know if there are mirrors to get the demo? This official page does not deliver at all! Where did you get that 400+ MB file from, if I may ask, moonrider?

Not that I have high hopes for this one, but I like the series so it might be fun to take it round the block for a spin.  ;D

Fred.

Hi fred,

I tried this download too, and found something amazing :

-download With Mozilla Firefox + DownThemAll plugin => 3 Mb corrupted file
-with Mozilla Firefox alone => the same
-with Internet Explorer => seems to work OK !

I suppose that would make sence, since i have Internet Explorer. And i could download it perfectly.

woot, I just tried the demo ...

Well, all those who think Ship Simulator is more an arcade game than a simulator should definitively try this one !!! There's absolutely nothing realistic in this demo ... And certainly not the Ship's behaviour !!
