I think it's coming along fantastic Llamalord.

I found a real dredger of about the same size.

The dimensions of this dredger, Marieke, can be found here (http://www.deme.be/Equipment/Marieke_GB.pdf).
2.85 times the length, 2.24 times the beam, somewhat bigger.

I've stinken seen one of these on Cape Cod!  Really I know what I'm doing I'm not going to let myself fly off the handle about this but I really have done plenty of research and I know what I'm doing. :(

My next model to hit this forum is the SS Sabino which is the last coal-fired steam ship in America so, Yes it's real, so you Can't say it's not right.

Do you mean pictures/renders of the Iron Flounder or of the Dredger I saw on Cape Cod?

I think some people should stop moaning in this topic and appreciate that you are doing this for our entertainment.

To the people who are complaning; I'd like to see your model of a dredger. Excellent work Llamalord, looking forward to when it's done!

I thought mentioning one of the worlds most famous steam ships being modeled would put a spark into this topic but I guess I was wrong. ::)

I've felt like I have been neglecting my other 3D projects like the Sabino so there will be some new renders soon but none of them will really be all that amazing although a few of the thing that people have been nicely suggesting I change will be fixed.  So yes I do like suggestions but not complaints. ::) ;)

NathanC, If I make a model, people may moan about my model, beceaus maybe then I will realise that I am not doing it well.

You shouldn't expect no comment if you put it on a forum.

I am going to start a topic about my project and people may moan about it as much as they want.

I'm kind of sorry guys but I've been working on the other ship I'm modeling right now...

If I don't switch off between them I get really annoyed and we wouldn't want me to lose interest in modeling now would we. ;D  I know a few  of you have heard me going on about this other ship and I decided today I would shell out 1 and on 1 render.

Enjoy the glory that is The Sabino!!!

Ahoy llamalord,
WHOOOW, indeed. Is it an excisting vessel or a product of Your imagination? What are the measures of this one? Or, comparing to the Elbe: is she longer or shorter, wider or smaller etc.

Just like I said in another topic: Verry nice ship!

I think it is better than the Iron Flounder.

It has the right dimensions and allso looks realistic.

Great work Llamalord!

Thanks Guys,

The reason she looks real and has good looking dimentions is because she is real! ;D

She currently lives at the Mystic Seaport in Mystic Connecticut.  This is the 100th year of the Sabino.  She still has the same engine that she was built with and has possibly the coolest history of any ship other than the Titanic.  For example most ships on get to sink once but the Sabino has sank Twice already.

I want to get the Sabino out as a 3D model for Ship Simulator for her 100th birthday.  And show America's Pride for the Last American Coal fired Steamer.
