Engine order telegraph (and other little things).
« on: June 28, 2008, 20:01:22 »

Ahoy Ship(sim)mates
In fact, the Furie uses a engine order telegraph. So does the Elbe. Can't wait till VSTEP brings them out.
In case of the Furie: even the bell sound of that E-O-T is embedded in the game.
What I miss (not only with this vessel) is a big cloude of smoke and steam above the funnel and the absent of a steam-plume while the whistle blows.

In the 2006 Titanic, that had/had a double-sided E-O-T. You clicked on the appropriate side and it swung round for you to activate it. There was a delay until the acknowledgement signal came back and then the indicator was set accordingly. Excellent visuals.
