Just so that everyone understands, YouTube will remove any video that contains music to which the poster does not own copyright, as soon as it is pointed out to them.
If you post a video and put a music soundtrack to it, you are actually breaking the law. In theory, you could become the subject of prosecution for breach of copyright.
With the way that the film and music industry are now moving in on people using bit-torrent applications, they may yet turn their attention to posters on YouTube. Who can tell? Under copyright laws in ALL countries, they could do this.
I posted a video there a short while ago, and the music publisher complained. YouTube immediately removed my video. But, when I contacted them and pointed out that I wrote the music and that they work to protect my interests, they said "OOPS" and YouTube allowed me to put it back. But, had it been YOU that posted it, you would now be minus one video. You might also be suject to a ban by YouTube.
So please, be careful. Your posts are being monitored by men in suits...
