« on: June 20, 2008, 10:25:37 »

OMG, today i was looking at the multiplayer servers and i have seen the two tugs, im having a feeling they might be 80% way of translation complete and would be ready for service in about a moth or to? Sorry im just exited to sail Furie especially as well as Elbe  :D.

They will cost money though  :-\

A VSTEP developer said to a friend of mine that they are currently making the final changes to the dynamics and the first out of the 2 should be available 2 weeks from now, with the 2nd becoming available the week after that. And they will be sold at no more than £6.00 each apparently

Thick black smoke alright, and yes the person who got the info about the elbe and furie was me. And according to the developer the first ship will arrive in about 2 weeks and the next a few weeks later. I'll keep you updated on this topic :)

It's so expensive because they are raising funds to keep the ships running, £12 isn't a lot to ask for to keep 2 classic ships sailing

Yes, but the money is helping to keep thw two tugs going.

I think it is worth paying more for two good quality models which is helping keeping the real ships going, instead of them losing money and being scrapped.

That's exactly what i said - pauljanaway, they are so expensive to keep these 2 beautiful ships running, £6 is not so much to keep 2 90 year old vessels going is it?

The first ship will come out in 1-2 weeks now, the second ship will come about 2 weeks after, that is what i have told by the developer.

What a pity that some players do not recognise the work and care that has been put into these two models. I would think that £6 sterling was a very fair price to pay, particularly as some of the proceeds will go to help with the upkeep of these two historic vessels. Nothing is for nothing and such beautiful ships do not grow on trees. ::) Oh, and by the way, the ships are in the final stages of testing as I write.
